At Ashbrook Infant and Nursery School everyone of the staff team plays an essential part.

Our team includes; teachers, teaching assistants, admin, cleaners, caretaker, midday supervisors and governors.

Professionals from other agencies are regularly in school working with children and staff. Agencies include; Derbyshire Inclusion Advisory Service, Educational Psychology, Speech Therapy, Children's Services, School Health Team...

We also welcome volunteers and students into school – look out for ID badges if you are unsure of who is who.

Mrs Helen Roebuck

Headteacher

Mrs Roebuck has overall responsibility for teaching and learning in school. Mrs Roebuck is also special needs co-ordinator and pupil premium lead.  Mrs Roebuck is our Safeguarding Lead Person and also leads English.

Mr Nathaniel Coxon

School Business Officer

Mr Coxon is the contact in the office in the mornings. He looks after the school finances, health and safety and the school buildings and grounds. He is also a First Aider. 

Mrs Wallace

School Business Administrator

Mrs Wallace is the contact in the office in the afternoons. She supports us in looking after the children, the building and making sure we have the resources that we need. She is also a First Aider.

Mrs Nicky Quinn

Early Years Lead

Mrs Quinn is the Early Years Leader in school.  She teaches Reception in Hazel Tree Class on a Monday, Thursday and Friday.  She is our mental health and well-being lead across the school.  Mrs Quinn is also our Safeguarding Deputy and is taking over the SENDCo role from Mrs Roebuck.

Miss Jen Tivey

Miss Tivey teaches Hazel Tree class on a Tuesday and Wednesday. She is taking over responsibility for History.

Miss Goddard teaches in Elm Tree Class. She has responsibility for Computing.

Mrs Floyd teaches our Nursery children in Acorns Class on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  She has responsibility for PSHCE and SMSC development and Geography.  

Mrs Kym Purdon

Mrs Purdon teaches our Nursery children in Acorns Class on a Monday and Tuesday. She has responsibility for Art and Design and Design Technology. 

Miss Paige Chinellato

Miss Chinellato teaches our Year 2 children in Oak Tree Class.   She is responsible for PE and school sport and Science.  She is also our link to the University of Derby for any student teachers.

Mrs Webster teaches our Year 1 / 2 children in Willow Tree Class.  She has responsibility for Maths, Music and Religious Education in school.
