Coronavirus Advice and Information

Covid 19 update to Parents / Carers

Since the late summer resumption in September, school has been prepared for managing Covid-19 cases as they become more commonplace in our local community. In line with Government and Public Health guidance, we will be asking staff and pupil bubbles to isolate whenever symptoms or cases appear.  This is designed to minimise the impact on the wider school community.  We continue to communicate to all affected parents / carers directly through Dojo and this will ensure children are isolated for the necessary time.

Please find below some useful links for pupils, parents and carers at a time when there may be an increase in anxiety related to the COVID-19 virus.

You can help to slow the spread of Coronavirus!

Make sure you and your children follow these general principles to prevent spreading any respiratory virus:

  • wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or with an alcohol-based sanitiser if soap and water aren't available
  • avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
  • avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • if you feel unwell, stay at home and don't attend work or school
  • cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in a bin
  • clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces in the home
  • click on the link below for simple and effective hand hygiene messages

If you are worried about your symptoms, please call 111 - do not go directly to your GP or other healthcare environment
